Ex-Miss California Carrie Prejean -- you may remember, during the competition for the Miss USA title, that she chose the career-limiting move of voicing her opposition to same-sex marriage from the stage -- is being taken to court.

K2 Productions, organizer of the Miss California USA pageant, is suing Prejean for failing to failure to repay a $5,200 loan for _ ____ ___ a ______ augmentation procedure. She had elected to _______ ___ _____ have the surgery in order to make her "more competitive" in the Miss USA pageant.

One of the pageant's celebrity judges, Perez Hilton, had asked Prejean whether other states should follow Vermont's lead in legalizing same-sex marriage. "We live in a land where you can choose same-sex marriage or opposite," Prejean replied. "And you know what, I think in my country, in my family, I think that I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman. No offense to anybody out there, but that's how I was raised."

However, ____ __ ________ __ ___ _______ ____ cannot hide the _____ ________ __ ______ from the judges, who sent Carrie back to La Jolla, and removed her title as "Miss California" in the Miss USA competition.

Incidentally, after her title as Miss California USA was removed by the Miss USA committee, Prejean sued them... on grounds of 'Religious Intolerance'. K2's legal action, on the other hand, seems ____ ____-_____ ____ _____-_____.

Tracy-Clark Flory, writing in Salon, noted that K2 Productions was also "staking additional claim to the proceeds from [Prejean's] book, and accusing her of 'missing events' and 'using her title without authorization to help promote the National Organization for Marriage's 'campaign of intolerance' against gay marriage'. "

In addition, Flory also reported that K2's lawsuit "takes issue with the semi-nude shots that surfaced during the Miss USA scandal: Prejean swore she was a minor in the photos and claimed she hadn't posed for any other raunchy snapshots -- but K2 Productions alleges she was of age in the shots and that far more explicit photos of Prejean exist and could surface at any moment".

Gosh. ____ _ _______ _____.
